SWISS DAYS!

Every year my mom her sisters and I head
up to swiss days is Heber. Its always so fun to
walk around, look at all the cute booths and
of course partake of all the yum-o food!
(ok that's the real reason we go)
Tate had fun playing with my aunt Springs kids
Tennyson and Finn. All they needed was
a few treats and some bev's and they were
good to go.

So I guess their fav part was eating too...

Say 100 degrees!

Every year we hurry to the gourd ladies
booth first because hers is by
far the best. She does the most creative
cutest stuff. Her web site is jenibee.com
Everything else is kinda same-o same-o,
ya I get it- live well laugh oft and love much
blah blah blah blah.....

TATE'S FIRST TRIP TO THE ZOO!

Tate's friend Ayden taking
such good care of him...

My friend Mary (the party planner) let
Tate and I tag along with her and her sister
in-laws to the zoo. It was such a fun day.
These are her cute kids, Ayden and Sophie.

Regardless of the face Tate is pulling,
he really did have a lot of fun. He was
convinced since most everything we saw
had four legs, they were all dogs. He kept
pointing at the animals and saying, Gog...
rrrrr, rooo. (his version of a ruff)

I think his all time favorite were the giraffes.
One came right over and put his face with in
one foot of us. It was so crazy/scary!

I have a picture by this lion fountain when I was
really little, so I couldn't resist
taking the same one of Tatie.

Here we are on the train ride. I hadn't been
to the zoo in at least 10 years. I was
very impressed at the "new and improved"
Hogle Zoo! It used to be way ghetto.

Tatie and his girlfriend Sophie...just
6ish weeks apart.

FAMILY PICS!

I realized the other day that
we don't really have any real family
pics, so thanks to my very talented
sister Brynne, now we do. I wanted to
post one and I got carried away...sorry!
I know some think I'm joking but sometimes
I think life should be a musical. (alright,
most of the time, OK fine...always!) Look at
Kenny and Tate, they are like what-the?

We found some really cool train tracks and
an old box car along the way. Apparently
Bob found it before we did.

I know Tate looks very innocent, but you
wouldn't believe how may fruit
snacks it took for him to hold
still even for just one minute.

Again the look of innocence really is uncanny!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO US...

Kenny and I celebrated our anniversary on
Saturday. Since we have had a crazy summer
and we are going to San Diego in a couple weeks,
we decided to keep it low key. We made plans to
go do a session at the Salt Lake Temple and than
dinner at the Roof, over looking the same beautiful
place we were married. As we were walking out the
door we grabbed our recommends and realized they
were expired by a week...ugh! We still wanted to make
our dinner reservations but had time to kill so we
went and saw Rush Hour III...not quite the
same experience the Temple would have been, but
humorous non the less. The Roof was beautiful and
soooo yummy. I kept hoping someone around us would
propose. Then we went and walked around the Temple
grounds and snapped this pic by the eternity tree (or
whatever its called)remembering where we stood on that
same day two years ago. It was so peaceful and fun.
These last two years have been the best of my life.
Kenny is everything I could have hoped for and so
much more. He is the best husband and father in the
world. It was so worth wondering in the wilderness for
what seemed like forever before finally finding my promised
land...I love you babe! Two years and a one year old, oh ya!

CABIN FAMILY FUN!

Why is it so fun to strip babies down and
put em in the tub?

Every year we head to Kenny's family cabin
at Duck Creek for the weekend. Its always
good times. Tate and his cousin Ryder loved just
hangin out and watchin shows.

The sandbox was a big hit too...

Another highlight was takin the four
wheelers and jeeps out on the trails.
Kenny claims hes the warrior and
I'm the worrier

HAPPY PIONEER DAY...LATE!

July is one of my favorite months. Celebrating
the fourth and Pioneer Day is always so fun!
We were in Lake Powell for the fourth so
the 24th was really Tatie's first firework experience.

BBQ'in up at Grandma Nelsons is always
a highlight!

Tate and his favorite (and only) cousin Caden.
Any family resemblance? Not really, they both look
like their dads...Grammie Nelson, and Kenny, keep
beggin for more grand kids...funny huh?

Every year we get a huge game of golf ball swing
goin and every year I dominate. (because your on my
team and my team always wins...) oh FRIENDS my it rest.
