MY NEW LOVE...

QUILTING!
I have started a new hobby that I just love!
It may seem a little old lady-ish, but I'm here
to tell ya, quilting ain't for wimps.
For graduation, I wanted to do something for
Ken that he could always have and remember.
So my ULTRA creative and talented mother suggested
I make him a quilt. I kind of chuckled at the idea
but decided to give it a go. After one week
of seriously putting in 8 hour days, I thought I had
had enough. I understand now why they are so
expensive. The cost of fabric+labor=lotsa mulah.
I swore them off after Kennys, but I decided
to give it another go for my sister-in-law whose having
a baby girl. And the love affair ignited...
This one was smaller and easier since I already knew the
ropes.(kinda)

These are a few Tates Grammie Nelson
made for him. She wanted him to have one
for everyday of the week. (extremely talented, but
borderline crazy...)

I love this cowboy one...

DISNEYLAND!!!

Two days before we left my poor mom got in
a fight with an iron bed and lost. But the trip
must go on! And we took advantage of the
handicap and went to the front of the lines-oh ya!

Everything was all decorated so
cute and festive.

Everyone raise a churro in toast to the
Magical Kingdom!

SPLASH MOUNTAIN

My little twin sisters went to a character
breakfast with all the princesses...

Tate benefited from the mickey waffles!
His favorite part of Disneyland was
all the food.

One of Taties favorite rides was the
Finding Nemo submarine ride.
The cartoon fish were swimming all over,
it really was cool.
A personal favorite of mine.
Not the real Troy Bolton, but it was still
fun to dance and sing at the High School Musical II
pep rally. Did I dance and sing...heck ya!
MMMM...enjoying some cheetos!

The ride that made everyone sick...

AUTOPIA

Again eating and eating.

MY NEW OBSESSION-WICKED!

While the boys went to the ESPN zone,
we headed off to Wicked at the Pantages
theater in Hollywood. For me, it was the
highlight of the trip. From the minute the curtain
went up I didnt want it to end. We were on the fourth
row! I mean were talkin nose hairs!
It was incredible!

A big shout out to Grammie and Grampie
Nelson for the wonderful trip. Thanks
for all the planning and mulah it
took to make the trip such a success! The whole trip was
a riot! We love you so...

PUMPKIN PATCH...

For FHE we decided to go to the pumpkin
patch and pick out some pumpkins.
Tate wanted to wear his festive overalls
for the event...
I asked Tatie which one he wanted
and he pointed at like 20, so we
bought them all. I really hope one day
I will be able to tell him no.

The 'pumpkin people' have this sweet
old truck set up for some great photo opts.
This poor child fell victim to his mothers
clippers. What was meant to be a trim, turned
into a military recruit look-a-like. One thousand
apologies my little love.

Captain GQ.

Can you believe this boy
held these poses all on his own?

I had to sneak in a shot of us at
the THS football game...Go T-wolves!
