its been many moons...

i do realize its been days since my last post and you all are just waiting
with bated breath to see what the petersons are going to do next...:)
the reason being, kenny now takes the laptop to work and leaves
me internet-less. but this morning i snagged it for a
brief update.
i had a very fun filled, action packed mothers day. i decided its one of
my new favorite holidays. not only did i get breakfast in bed and
showered with gifts, but it also reminded me of how blessed i am to be a mother.
which leads us right into point #2...
i went to the doc this week and all looks well with mystery baby #2.
that right, we decided to not find out the gender of the baby until
he or she comes. as john bon jovi would say..."oh, were half way there, oh-oh
livin on a prayer. take my hand well make it i swear..."
that's my theme song this week as we (i) hit the half way mark of being prego and
now am the mother of one and a half children!
its hard to tell but the bb is doing a toe touch in this pic.
cheerleader? gymnast?

and these are the cute little feet. the whole thing is so amazing.

You guys are crazy! I could never do it. I thought about doing it with Alli, and when I told Jeff, he laughed in my face. Who was I kidding. But hats off to you! And it's about time we had a new issue of the Peterson Post!
I didn't find the Nemo case, I hope you guys have it. Let me know if you don't and I'll resume the search. I have to tell you the funny story when I dropped it off. I gave it to your sister (i'm not sure which one) and I said, "This is Tate's Finding Nemo DVD. Tell Linds she can just keep the case." Keep the papertowel case I had so cleverly made that is. And she just said, "oh okay." I thought my joke was hilarious, but I guess not.

i loved not finding out. it's pretty easy, except in the 8th mo.-I don't know why. I just felt not prepared, but if you just get through those few weeks, soon the baby will be here and there really is no need to find out. good luck! I bet it's a little girl. I am really good at guessing;0)

Yeah, where the freak have you been? Seriously, I really need an update on your political leanings. What is the Obama atmosphere in Utah? I mean, if we are honest, we all know he is our next pres.

The little one looks like he'll be a cute one; Tate set quite the high precedent for looks though. I can't believe you guys aren't finding out. Happy Mother's day and I'll be checking beck for a Linds special on politics.

How exciting that you aren't finding out! There is no way I could have done that. You are strong...good for you! No matter if the baby is a boy or a girl the baby (I hate when people call a baby an "it") is guaranteed to be a cutie! :-)

You guys are brave! I'm just way too much of an anxiety bumb that I can't wait to know. But how cool is that! I love ultrasound pics. I'm glad you guys are doing well. I kept checking to see if you would blog! Happy mother's day. We love you guys!!!

Hooray!! I was wondering about your absence from the blog world. I was getting a little worried! Shame on Kenny from taking the laptop! Tell him you have blogging duties :) Anyhoos, I can't believe you guys aren't finding out what you're having till you have "it"!! I swear I saw a little pee pee in the ultrasound pic though (but don't worry, I've also mistaken feet as weiners in ultrasound pictures....soooo, yeah.)

I can't even wait to find out at my regular doctors appointment at 20 weeks. I have gone to fetal photo in the mall with both my boys. With my second, I was going to be "strong" and hold out to find out what it was, but I got to week 18 and couldn't wait anymore. So off to fetal photo I went and it was totally worth it. I am totally irrational when I am pregnant as you can see! Good for you guys for holding out, do you have any intuition of what you think it is though?

You have some major willpower to wait to find out....my curiousity just kills me from day one.

Wow, wow, wow!!! I can't believe YOU are the mother of 2 (well, 1.5!) There's so much catching up to do....I could talk your ear off for hours! I hope your #2 comes sliding to home plate (AKA through the birth canal) as easily and pain free as mine, especially because both of our adorable sons decided to cause as much trauma in the birthing process as possible! Tate is SO cute!!!!!
