HApPy biRThdAY tAte & keNNy!

The good thing about father and son
having their birthdays 1 day apart...
is two parties! We had been at the family
cabin then the day we got home we moved
into our new house, so we kept it low key.
But both the parties were filled with good presents,
good family and of course good cake. Tate was
a little hesitant to dive in, but after a little
encouragement he never looked back. It is so
hard to believe my baby is one year old!

Grampie and his #1 grandson

Tate breakin in our new house
throwing cake everywhere!

LAKE POWELL 2007

We came back from wake boarding in the
morning and found the kids playing
dress-up with Tate...even as a lil punk
rocker he is still a babe!

For some reason, being in the boat
left Tate feeling a little lethargic...

I love to wakeboard! This is the first time
I have been out in a while because last year
I was extremely prego. Im still a little
wabbly but Kenny is profesh, its so annoying!

Kenny and the boys trying to catch
some fish...I think the fish were
on to them because they got close
a few times but those stinkin carp
always seem to win out in the end.

Every year since Kenny has been
home from his mish. he and 2 other families
have an annual Lake Powell trip. (its one of the reasons
I married him...and I think it played a big role in cutting
our Texas experience short) The weather was great,
the water was glassy, the food was yum and the folks were
a riot! Tate had so much fun bobbin in the water in his
little life vest. Thanks Clarks and Baileys for the good
times! WE LOVE LAKE POWELL!

Sanity...take 27

It seems like forever since my last post...maybe because it has been forever! Our life is the craziest of the crazies. Lets see where do I even begin...oh yes, June 13, Tate and I fly to Utah for my cousins wedding. (well sorta, we missed our flight but that's another story for another day) When I got online to get my return flight info I find out the whole thing was canceled due to the first missed one...are you kidding me delta-I will never fly the friendly skies again. Meanwhile Kenny got a job offer back in Utah and really wanted to give it a whirl so..........he packed up the house and drove home. It is a very bitter sweet thing for me, sweet because we are closer to family and friends, bitter because I didn't get to say goodbye to anyone in Texas, we never went to a Rangers game and there was still a world of shopping to do. Oh well maybe next time we move to Texas...note the sarcasm. We went to Lake Powell the day Ken got back and we just got home yesterday(pics to come). And while we were gone Kenny got another job offer he is considering. So I guess we are just takin it one day at a time around here, well that and we are counting down the days till we move into our new house...5 to be exact!
